With over 15 years as a doctor, Dr Dhillon started his career in surgical training working in a number of large teaching hospitals. His experience in general surgery and trauma and orthopaedics laid a strong foundation in surgical technique, which was further refined during his training in plastics and reconstructive surgery. It was during this time that he started to develop his aesthetic eye. As a practising GP, Dr Dhillon is only too aware of the issues of body image and mental health and ensures a holistic approach to all assessments. Dr Randhawa graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2012. Over the last 10 years, she has worked in a number of different medical and surgical specialties. Her main work today is as a General Practitioner in the NHS but her career to date has included working in Australia for two years where she was a medical registrar in General Medicine. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practitioners.
She developed her keen interest in medical skin care during her time in Australia, where there is a high prevalence of sun-related skin damage. She continues to use and build on this knowledge in her General Practitioner role in the NHS and as our lead for skin care.
